The plant

Native to Australia and South Africa, Eucalyptus Radiata is a tall tree of the Myrtaceae family, with thin, aromatic leaves.
The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves.

Compared with Eucalyptus Globulus, its fragrance is softer and slightly lemony, but it keeps all its aromatic intensity.

Anecdotes & History

Eucalyptus Radiata is one of more than 600 species of eucalyptus. Less well known than Eucalyptus Globulus, it appeals with its soft, versatile fragrance.

Aboriginal Australians traditionally used its leaves in various well-being practices. In many cultures, eucalyptus is associated with purification, regeneration and inner strength.

Today, its fresh, minty scent makes it a must-have in natural hygiene products and well-being rituals.
